Warren & Charlotte’s Quiz and Raffle for Cam Sight

Warren & Charlotte’s Quiz and Raffle for Cam Sight.

Saturday 20 August, 7pm. Last year we held a quiz and raffle at the John Barleycorn in Duxford and raised over £600. This year the event will be held at the Frank Lee Centre on the Addenbrooke’s site.

As the Frank Lee Centre has a strict capacity limit if you say you’re attending we will add your names to a list so you can pay on the door. If you would like to attend please e-mail camsightquiz@gmail.com with the names of the people coming with you so we have an idea of numbers.

Cam Sight is a charity based in Cambridge which helps blind and visually impaired people in the area. They have helped me (Warren Wilson) in particular over the past two years since I lost my eyesight by teaching me how to touch type, use screen reading software and they raised the money to get a tandem for me, keeping my love for cycling alive. They have even continued to help me by assisting me with the forms I needed to complete to attend university. Without Cam Sight I would have found it difficult to be in the position I am in now, where I have completed my first year at university.

Therefore because Cam Sight has been such a brilliant charity to me and others we are arranging a quiz and raffle to raise money for them.

We hope that you have a great time!
