Cambridge-based a capella ensemble Little Choir will celebrate their 10th Anniversary with a concert at St Bene’t's Church, Cambridge, on Saturday May 12th 2012 at 7.30 pm. The choir, normally consisting of eight singers, will be joined on this special occasion by several past choir members and friends. Little Choir gives 6-8 performances a year in a variety of venues in Cambridge and surrounding villages, often by invitation at dinners and other events.
A varied programme will include:
Gorecki: Totus Tuus
Durufle: Four Gregorian Motets
Lotti: Crucifixus
Rachmaninov: Bogoroditsye Dyevo
Lauridsen: O Magnum Mysterium
plus a selection of spirituals, folksongs and arrangements of 20th Century favourites such as Blue Moon and Goodnight Sweetheart.
Admission is £8 (on the door only) and all profits will go to Cam Sight.
