Volunteer with us Join us as a volunteer We have a range of volunteer roles available across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. CamSight believes in professional standards in volunteering, creating a supported experience where your time is given to a meaningful activity. We hope you will find satisfaction in your role, whether that is helping to drive a blind or visually impaired person to their monthly support group, or as a befriender visiting a person in their home. To apply for any of our volunteering roles, please fill out the Volunteer Expression of Interest Form and we will be in contact to discuss opportunities and answer any questions. Martin Thompson (CamSight Volunteer) from Cambridge: “One thing that has also struck me, and continues to do so, is the resilience of the service users I meet. I find it a fruitful and a hugely beneficial role. “It is a two-way relationship and I get a lot from befriending roles and the volunteer driver duties, and I would urge anyone considering volunteering to contact CamSight."
