We are taking part in the Big Give’s 2024 Christmas Challenge to raise £14,901 in just one week!

If you haven’t heard of it before, the Big Give Christmas Challenge utilises the ‘Pledge Model’ of double match funding. CamSight will receive up to 25% of our target from a ‘Champion’ funder, but only if we have been able to secure 25% via Pledges (each of £100 or more) from our CamSight supporters before the 30^th August.

If we are successful, the final 50% is then unlocked by donations given through Big Give’s online fundraising platform during the week of the Christmas Challenge campaign: 3^rd December – 10^th December.

This year we’re raising funds to provide our Mobile Unit service, insured serviced and maintained, and to contribute to our Assistive Technology outreach team’s wages. If we are successful in raising the £14,901 target, this is equivalent to 3 months' costs!

Pledge To The CamSight Big Give Christmas Challenge

The Big Give specifies that each pledge must be for £100 or more. Pledges are promises of funding, and are not paid to the challenge straight away. Pledgers will only be asked to fulfil their pledge if we reach our target during the campaign. If we do not make our full target, we will only ask for the appropriate % of pledge to be fulfilled. Therefore, pledges must only be paid after the Christmas Challenge is finished (10/12/2024, 12:00) and before the deadline, 17/01/2025, 18:00.
