Main Tasks:

Supporting community fundraising and awareness events.

Manning a stall at an event.

Putting up posters or handing out flyers.

Supporting with bucket collection at events or in public spaces.

Directing people to parking spaces or welcoming guests to a venue.

Serving teas & coffees at social events.  

Helping to set up and clear events.

When: Flexible hours depending on events calendar  

Where: Across Cambridgeshire.

Skills, experience and qualities needed: 

Good interpersonal skills - you must enjoy interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. Good conversational skills and being able to enquire in a non-intrusive way would be useful.

Experience - this role is suitable for anyone who enjoys the company of others and who likes to make a difference. We will provide support and training to help you develop once in role. Any previous fundraising or events experience would be a bonus.

Other information: 

You may be in contact with guide dogs on occasion. This maybe something to consider if you have an allergy or fear of dogs.

You will have an informal interview and complete volunteer application forms. You will be asked to supply two contacts we can approach for references (work colleagues or friends but not family).  We will carry out a DBS enhanced check.
