CamSight Connect Online Contributions

This form will remain open for submissions until the end of Sunday the 2nd of November.

We’d like to hear your views. If you were unable to attend our CamSight Connect event in person, you can still share your thoughts on the four discussion topics we are exploring. These are the same topics that were covered during the event.

You’re welcome to comment on just one topic, or as many as you like. At the end of the form, there’s also space to share any other feedback that doesn’t relate directly to the four areas.

You don’t need to provide your name (although you can if you wish), and there’s no word limit for your responses.

Funding and Fundraising

In 2025/26 we expect our expenditure to be £840,129. Approximately 20% of this is funded by Peterborough and Cambridge Councils. We fundraise throughout the year from a variety of sources such as:

Applying for grants from Trusts and Foundations (like the National Lottery)
Buying entries in challenge events like the Great Eastern Run and the Cambridge Half Marathon
Attending events like concerts, community fetes or Christmas markets
Running raffles, tombolas, and our weekly lottery
Offering a free, online, basic will writing service to encourage gifts in wills
Shopping centre/supermarket bucket collections and asking local businesses to host collection tins
Payroll giving, corporate partnerships, and Charity Of The Year/Month partnerships
Awareness day fundraising campaigns
Providing a variety of ways to make one-off or regular donations

We have also recently:
Developed a new awareness training programme (with suggested donation amounts)
Put our office up for rent

Future Plans

We are currently developing our strategy for 2026 and beyond, and it’s important to us that we are delivering services that are relevant and needed. This is your opportunity to tell us what you think we should be doing.

And finally...
