Finance Coordinator
Part-time – 22.5 hours per week, £27,000 - £29,000 pro-rata

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Finance Coordinator to join our charity. You will be joining our team based in Cambridge who are passionate about the Charity’s work, supporting people of all ages with sight loss across Cambridgeshire.

About the Role

The Finance Coordinator will undertake and provide charity-wide financial management ensuring compliance with charity and company regulations.

About You

You are partly qualified or qualified by experience of delivering the wide range of accounting services required by a small business or charity and are really comfortable with preparing management accounts. Ideally, you’re confident using SAGE accounting software and can even bring some ideas for how to improve our systems in the future. You’re knowledgeable with charity accounting (or excited about quickly getting yourself up to speed on this) and you are confident that you can hit the ground running in this varied role.

You are eager to work across and occasionally beyond the scope of the role in order to meet the needs of the Charity. Adaptable and organised you work effectively to deadlines with minimum supervision and communicate well over priorities. You intuitively understand the need for absolute confidentiality over sensitive matters.

What we Offer

In return you will receive a starting salary of between £27,000 and £29,000 (pro rata) and a range of benefits, which include:

25 days holiday (pro rata)

Employer contribution pension scheme

At the current time, the Charity is following Covid19 safe working practices. The role will be office based but it will initially follow blended working practices from the office and home.

Deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 26 October 2020. Interviews to be confirmed but likely to be the end of October, first week of November.
