We are looking for two new Trustees to join our board and lead on the development of Cam Sight. We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting local people living with low vision and blindness to live the lives they choose. You will play a role in setting the charity's strategy to ensure we achieve our vision and mission, in accordance with our values.

You will need to be able to commit to attending the evening Board meetings four times a year. Trustees are also expected to look after two nominated members of staff as part of our reflective practice, which will entail on average a quarterly phone call with each.

What we looking for?

We welcome all applicants, with a specific interest on those with the following skills and experience:

- Property and commercial
- HR and management
- Fundraising

We are proud to have at least one third of our board members be individuals with low vision and blindness, and would particularly welcome applicants who themselves live with low or no vision.

Practical Considerations

We will cover travel expenses, but ideally prefer those with easy access to Cambridge.

All new trustees would receive an induction into Cam Sight to understand the charity, its services, its history, and its plans.

To talk through this opportunity, please contact Cam Sight's Chief Executive Flóra Raffai on 01223 420033 ext. 21 or [email protected]
