News and Events Events Lunch and Walk in March Are you interested in getting together with others for a monthly catch up? A group of clients and sighted-guides meet monthly for lunch and walk at the the Ye Olde Griffin pub, located on the High Street in March. This popular activity allows everyone to get together for a monthly pub lunch in the heart of March where they can enjoy some good food and good conversation. Once finished, some participants would embark on a short walk to West Park and back which is no more than a mile round trip accompanied by a volunteer as a sighted guide or unassisted. A reasonable amount of fitness would be desirable to sustain the walk but can go at your own pace. For some, the lunch is more than enough to enjoy without the walk involved.
