Our services Peer support and friendship Peer support Cam Sight runs monthly meetings across Cambridgeshire for adults living with low vision or blindness, their carers, and their family members. The groups provide an opportunity to meet others within the community with similar experiences. By sharing tips on how to do things differently and helping one another, great friendships are formed. Groups meet on a weekday morning or afternoon for members to enjoy a range of different activities from guest speakers, entertainment, quizzes, and light refreshment. Members are kept updated on the newest equipment and support available from Cam Sight and other local and national organisations. Groups are currently held in: • Bar Hill• Bourn• Burwell• Cambridge• Chatteris• Cottenham• Fulbourn• Girton• Haslingfield• Histon and Impington• Linton• Littleport• March• Melbourn• Sawston• Soham• Stapleford• Whittlesey• Wisbech People from neighbouring villages are most welcome to attend. It enables you to find out about what’s available – services, equipment, etc. I absolutely rely on the big calendar we get at Christmas.” - Member of Histon and Impington Group.
