Join Team CamSight and run for us in the Great Eastern Run in 2026!

The 100% closed road flat route takes runners through a section of the city centre,  one of the unique aspects of the course, along with passing through the grounds of Peterborough Cathedral. Although exact details are still to be confirmed for 2026, the 2025 run started at 10:00am, preceded by Anna's Hope 5K run at 09:00am.

Entries are already open for the 2026 event via Good Running Events, who organise the run each year. Aaron Murrell, the director at Good Running Events, said: "The AEPG Great Eastern Run is a highlight of the events calendar in Peterborough, and we are incredibly proud to see the event continue to grow.

The 13.1 miles (21km) course began at the closed off Bishop's Road (by the Lido), before running through the city centre via Bridge Street and Bourges Boulevard and ending on the Embankment with an action packed Event Village.
