News and Events Cam Sight's Mobile Unit pop-up events in Fenland a huge success We held our first Mobile Unit pop-up events in Fenland this week. Our custom-built vehicle took a range of low vision equipment and technology to people at the Rosmini Centre, Wisbech and FACT Community Transport Centre in March. The pop-up events were well attended and Cam Sight staff were able to assist with equipment purchases, maintenance and advice. Dawn Preston, Cam Sight Fenland Manager says: “We would like to remind local blind and partially-sighted people we are still here to assist and offer support through this pandemic. We can be contacted in the usual ways via 01945 660795 or [email protected]” Following the success of the events, the Mobile Unit will be returning for two pop-up sessions next year at the Rosmini Centre, Wisbech on the following dates: Wednesday 20 January, 10am – 12 noon Wednesday 17 February, 10am – 12 noon Cam Sight would like to thank Rosmini Centre Manager Jerry Higgs, and FACT Chairman Gary Christy and FACT Hub Co-ordinator Nicola Christy for supporting the successful events.
