Finding the right glasses for a child improves their performance at school and increases their lifetime earnings.

But what might the glasses of the future look like? What will they be made of? What special features will they have?

Enter the World Sight Day 2024 international competition for a chance to win a cash prize for your school! 

The International World Association of Prevention of Blindness is asking children around the world to design the next generation of glasses to celebrate World Sight day on 10th October. 

You have until 20th October 2024 to enter, and winners will be announced on 20th November 2024.

Age 5 and under:

The winner will receive a £200 cash prize for their pre-school or nursery and their unique design will become the Love Your Eyes hear frame design in 2025. The winner will also receive a pair of sunglasses and a pair of glasses frames.

Age 6-12:

The winner will receive a £600 cash prize for their school and have their amazing design brought to life and made by a world renowned glasses manufacturer! The winner will also receive a pair of sunglasses and a pair of glasses frames.
